Beijing, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) — Eco-friendly materials and scene-extended designs are reshaping the global home goods industry in 2026, with more brands focusing on sustainability and full-scene user needs.
Chinese brand Dreame has launched an intelligent pool cleaning robot, solving the problems of incomplete edge cleaning and manual charging for traditional devices, extending smart home applications from indoor to outdoor spaces. Meanwhile, many brands are adopting recyclable materials for home products, from furniture to small appliances, to meet global environmental regulations and consumer demand for low-carbon life.
International cooperation is also deepening, with Chinese home goods brands integrating into local ecosystems overseas. For example, EcoFlow’s portable energy storage devices have been connected to LG Homey’s smart home system, providing users with a more integrated and convenient home energy solution. Analysts note that sustainability and scene extension will remain key drivers of the industry’s growth.
